Panos Paleologos was born in 1972 in Greece. After graduating from the International Hotel & Tourism Training Institute (IHTTI) in Switzerland, with a specialization in International Hotel Management, he worked as an executive in five-star hotels in Greece and England. In 2000, he founded the hotel management company HotelBrain, which has since grown into the largest hotel group in Greece. The company’s current portfolio consists of 103 hotels under long-term lease agreements, with a total capacity of 7.380 rooms and +3.000 employees across 39 destinations throughout Greece. In 2004, Hotel Brain Cyprus was established with a current portfolio of 4 hotels under long lease agreements with a total capacity of 290 rooms. Finaly, Hotel Brain operates 95+ hotels under management agreements in 28 Greek destinations and undertakes hotel advisory & development projects for investors in Greece and abroad. In 2012, Panos Paleologos established the Braining Center, the first experiential training center for hotels. In 2022, this evolved into the HotelBrain Academy, a pioneering academy and Lifelong Learning Center (LLC) aimed at training and developing the human resources of the hospitality industry while attracting and nurturing new talent. In 2014, he was elected Vice President of the Board of Directors of Small Luxury Hotels worldwide and was recognized as an innovative entrepreneur by Endeavor Global. In 2015, he announced Hotel Brain's partnership with the investment fund Southbridge Europe. In 2017, he received the honorary distinction of "Greek Hospitality Rising Star" at the Greek Hospitality Awards, followed in 2018 by the "Greek Hospitality Personality" award from the same institution. To date, HotelBrain has received numerous accolades and awards, including recognition as the World's and Europe's Leading Hotel Management Company by the World Travel Awards, Top Job Creator by Endeavor Greece, and Greece's Leading Hotel Management Company by the Tourism Awards, among others.
